📆 Important Calendar Reminders!

Stay warm tomorrow!

Due to impending weather conditions, the "Community Safety Forums" that were scheduled for December 4th and 5th have been cancelled. We will reschedule at a later date. We apologize for any inconvenience. Please stay safe and warm!

We would like to remind families and community members that Pocahontas County Schools will be hosting two community school safety forums this week. Please visit the "Safe Schools" section of our website for more information. If there is inclement weather, we will update our website and social media outlets with the revised schedule.

Important Message

This message is for Green Bank Elementary/Middle School families. Due to continued heating concerns, Green Bank will not be in school on Tuesday, December 3. Math Field Day students will report to the school to attend the event at the Observatory. Math Field Day families will receive an individual phone call regarding details of the day.
Staff, please check your email and phone for a message from Ms. Jordan.
Our maintenance staff worked late on the situation, but temperatures are not where we want them now.

Good morning! We wanted to be sure you know that we are still three hours delayed today. Again, we are on a delay and not closed for Monday, December 2—we understand that a television station misreported. Sorry for the confusion. We will see you soon!

All Pocahontas County Schools will be on a three-hour delay due to weather on Monday, December 2, 2024. Please be careful.

Happy Thanksgiving!
