Stephanie Burns, English Language Arts Teacher at Marlinton Middle and English Language Arts Instructional Coach for Pocahontas County Schools, has been selected as Pocahontas County Schools Teacher of the Year for 2021-22.
This is the second time in the past few years that Mrs. Burns has represented Pocahontas County Schools as their Teacher of the Year. She is highly respected by her peers, students, and community.
Mrs. Burns is an exemplary candidate for the West Virginia Teacher of the Year which will be announced in September.
