REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP)

Grounds Maintenance Services: Pocahontas County Schools

Pocahontas County Schools is accepting sealed proposals from qualified contractors to provide grounds maintenance services, including grass cutting, weed eating, mulching, trimming, hedging, and related landscape maintenance for five school campuses and the Pocahontas County Board of Education Office.

A mandatory site walkthrough will be held on September 15, 2026, with contractors attending either 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. or 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Attendance is required for a proposal to be considered.

Sealed proposals must be received no later than 1:00 p.m. on September 21, 2026. Proposals will be publicly opened at 1:00 p.m. on September 21, 2026. Late or incomplete submissions will not be considered. All proposals must be received in the mail or hand delivered by the deadline.

Proposal documents must include proof of insurance, business credentials, references, detailed scope of services, and a pricing schedule as outlined in the RFP.

Pocahontas County Schools reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive informalities in the best interest of the school district.
