Supplemental Reading Resources
Request for Proposals
Pocahontas County Schools is accepting proposals for supplemental reading resources for grades K–5 across its three elementary schools from March 23, 2026, through April 10, 2026. This Request for Proposals (RFP) seeks supplemental resources designed to support explicit and systematic instruction aligned with a supplemental reading curriculum, with a focus on phonemic awareness, phonics, and decoding. Proposals must be submitted via email to: Dr. Leatha Williams at lgwillia@k12.wv.us, Sarah Hamilton at sehamilton@k12.wv.us and Stephanie Burns at smburns@k12.wv.us. The subject line of the email must read: RFP Instructional Resources: Phonemic Awareness, Phonics and Decoding in Grades K–5. All proposals must be received no later than 4:00 PM on April 10, 2026, as indicated by the email timestamp.
